Art Deco Gold Lamé Cinnabar Slip Dress & Tunic Top. |
This vintage Art Deco gold lamé cinnabar slip dress and tunic top dates from the 1920s. The tunic top is made of a black silk fabric background with gold metallic lamé thread woven throughout in a swirling design and a small orange color cherry blossom floral pattern. This lovely loose fitting long tunic top blouse has an asymmetrical V front neckline, key hole opening back, long tapered sleeves and cinnabar color silk crepe inserts with connecting crochet thread brides and bars. The top measures 33 inches long, with 45 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 42 inch bust and 24 inch long sleeves. Included with the top is a cinnabar color silk slip style dress which measures 52 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 40 inch bust. This outstanding outfit is in good wearable condition, with only two tiny holes in the sleeve (see close-up). The underarms have also been repaired mended on the tunic top. $150 |
