This vintage embroidered bodice Polish folk vest corset top dates from the 1940s. It is made of a black velvet fabric, with colorful hand embroidered flowers. This fabulous folk Polish vest style corset bodice top has black silk lacing down the front for closure, colorful decorative stitching around the neckline, arm holes and petal shaped tabs scalloped along the bottom edge hem. It is fully lined in a heavy linen fabric. The vest is adjustable and measures 15 inches long, with a 26 inch waist and 30 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition. These Krakowianka vests were worn for dancing and are a wonderful piece of wearable Polish textile folk art.
