This vintage Japanese raw silk screen kimono robe dates from the 1920s. It is made of a raw silk fabric with a colorful silk screen floral chrysanthemum print design done in shades of orange, red, blue, green and white. This lovely long floor length kimono robe style dressing gown has a front overlap button closure, short full sleeves and a matching fabric sash belt. It is fully lined in raw silk. The robe measures 47 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 38 inch waist, bust and 14 inch back. It is in excellent clean wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of wearable art which could easily be worn out today. $150 |
