This Edwardian Titanic era silk lace beaded wedding gown dress dates from 1912. It is made of an off white cream color silk fabric, with a sheer net raised padded satin stitch embroidered lace overlay and silver crystal beaded trim accents on the front bodice insert. The bodice has a draping asymmetrical style, with ruched ribbon trim edging and silk crochet ball fringe. There is a silk ribbon rosette flower trim on the front, a pleated ribbon sash belt with draping fringed ends hanging down the back. This beautiful bridal wedding gown dress has a layered uneven asymmetrical style, with shoulder plaits, a high collar neckline, 3/4 length sleeves with beaded ruffle cuffs and hooks & eyes for closure down the back. It is fully lined in cotton inside the top and silk on the skirt. The dress measures 53 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 15 inch back. It is in as-is fair condition, with a few small faint age spot stains on the sleeve and front skirt. There are two tiny splits on the back silk ribbon sash and the inside skirt silk lining is split and would need to be replaced. This is a wonderful piece of wearable wedding bridal gown textile art.
