This antique Art Deco orange silk silver lamé fringe shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a bright orange color silk fabric background, with an Art Deco abstract leaf striped pattern design woven with silver metallic lamé threads. There is a fabulous hand knotted macramé dark brown silk fringe which measures 15 inches long surrounding the entire shawl. This sensational squared shawl measures 33 by 33 inches. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only some slight faint tarnish discoloration on the silver lamé. This is truly a rare piece of exceptional wearable Art Deco textile art.
