This amazing antique Art Deco green silk gold lamé chiffon cape cloak shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a teal blue green color sheer silk chiffon background, with gold metallic lamé threads woven into the fabric in an embossed floral pattern design. There is a teal blue green color silk satin fabric border edging and framing the entire fabric square, with a matching fabric large bow decorative trim sewn onto the side. This magnificent square shawl has a cape cloak style, with an open front and no closure, just the bow trim accent on the front neckline. The shawl measures 52 by 57 inches. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only some faint discoloration tarnish in areas. This is truly a rare piece of exceptional wearable Art Deco textile art.
