This amazing antique Art Deco emerald green silk velvet gold lamé shawl coat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a bright brilliant emerald green color silk, with gold metallic lamé threads woven into the fabric in a floral brocade pattern design. This opulent opera coat is mid length, has a large shawl collar capelet on the back, long full sleeves and a neck tie scarf closure. It is fully lined in an emerald green silk velvet fabric inside. The coat measures 38 inches long, with a 48 inch waist, hips, bust and a 17 inch back. It is in good condition, but does have some slight fraying along the collar edging. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of exceptional wearable Art Deco textile art.
