This antique Edwardian era embroidered net lace wedding gown dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer off white ecru cream color cotton net, with silk embroidery work, lace medallion inserts and wool appliqued ribbon bow trim accents. This wonderful wedding gown three piece outfit includes a matching blouse, skirt and separate white silk petticoat. The loose fitting blouse bodice top has a squared lace trim neckline, layered lace trim ruffled full billowing sleeves, hook & eye closures and is fully lined in silk. The top measures 20 inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 13 inch back. There is a sheer, unlined, long floor length full skirt, with a slight back train, hook & eye closures and a velvet trim waistband. The skirt measures 41 inches long in the front, 46 inches long in the back, with a 25 inch waist. This gorgeous wedding gown is custom made, with beautiful detail, workmanship and lace work. It is in excellent wearable condition and is truly a wonderful piece of wearable textile lace art and would make a beautiful bridal wedding gown.
