This antique Edwardian era white eyelet lace lawn graduation tea dress dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer fine white cotton batiste lawn fabric, with embroidered eyelet cut work, torchon and valenciennes French bobbin lace inserts. This lovely lace long floor length dress has a squared neckline, draping shoulder sleeve overlay, with a gathered bib flounce front, 3/4 length sleeves with lace ruffle trim edging, pleated inserts along the bottom skirt and buttons down the back for closure. It is unlined. The dress measures 56 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 25 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 13 1/2 inch back. It is in good wearable condition, with only a tiny faint age spot on the back skirt and two tiny frays on the back top. This is a wonderful piece of romantically feminine Edwardian antique textile art which could be worn as a wedding gown or graduation dress.
