This vintage black velvet dolman sleeve bias cut dress gown dates from the 1930s. It is made of a luxurious black silk velvet fabric, with smocking pleated gathers around the neckline collar and shoulder arms. This fabulous floor length long bias cut dress evening gown has long tapered dolman style sleeves, a key hole opening back, with hook & eye closure at the neck and a rhinestone heart shaped trim accent at the bottom (see close-up). The dress measures 63 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 15 inch back and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only a small hole on the back waist seam which could easily be repaired.
