Victorian Green Wool Flannel Lined Quilted Petticoat Skirt. |
This antique Victorian era green wool flannel lined quilted petticoat skirt dates from the 1880s. It is made of a dark forest evergreen green color fine wool fabric, with a machine quilted striped pattern. This wonderful winter petticoat has a full skirt, is fully lined with two different plaid prints of flannel fabric for warmth and has a blue and white checkered plaid cotton waistband with tie back closure. The petticoat measures 41 inches long, with a 31 inch waist. It is in good wearable condition, but has not been cleaned. There is a few faint stains on the front skirt and a small rip along a seam on the back bottom hem.
