This vintage red & white polka dot dress gown and bolero jacket dates from the 1940s. It is made of a white taffeta fabric, with a red flocked floral polka dotted pattern and red velvet trim edging around the top. This fabulous floor length long gown dress has spaghetti straps, a gathered sweetheart neckline, with decorative red velvet button and bow trim accents, an adjustable belted back tie sash, full skirt and back zipper closure. The dress measures 60 inches long, with a 32 inch waist and 36 inch bust. Included is a matching fabric short cropped bolero jacket, with red velvet bow trim on the sleeve cuffs, broad shoulders and an open front with no closure. The jacket measures 14 inches long, with a 36 inch bust and 14 1/2 inch back. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few tiny faint age spots scattered and some slight discoloration under the arms of the jacket. $150 |
