This antique Victorian era plush velvet beaver fur winter coat jacket dates from 1890. It is made of a brownish black plush silk velvet fabric, with soft sheared beaver fur trim button toggle loop closures down the front. This wonderful winter coat jacket has tailored style, with gathered puffy shoulders, long sleeves, rolled cuffs and rounded collar which can be worn turned up or down. It is fully lined in a brown silk satin fabric, with two inside pleated bow trim appliqued pockets. The jacket measures 24 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, bust, a 12 inch back and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition, with some slight wear, fraying on the inside lining.
