This antique Edwardian era white batiste lawn lace daisy graduation dress dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer fine white cotton batiste lawn fabric, with pleating, chain stitch embroidered daisies, raised french knot stamen centers and valenciennes French bobbin lace inserts. This lovely lace long floor length dress has a rounded lace trim neckline, a puffed pouter pigeon front blouse, 3/4 length sleeves with handkerchief uneven edged cuffs, a fitted waist, long full skirt and tiny crochet buttons down the back for closure. The dress measures 54 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 22 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 13 inch back and 16 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent clean wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of romantically feminine Edwardian antique lace textile art which could be worn as a wedding gown or graduation dress. $150 |
