This Edwardian black silk white polka dot gown dress dates from 1910. It is made of a black and white polka dot print silk fabric, with black velvet ribbon trim edging and covered button trim accents. There is a black brentonne needle run lace net with couched outlines on the large shawl style collar and undersleeve cuffs. This gorgeous gown visiting dress has a puffed pouter pigeon front top, sheer black net swiss dotted high neck collar insert, an attached black velvet waistband belted sash, long layered sleeves, a tiered long floor length skirt, with ruffle trim and hook & eye closures along the front side top. It is lined in the bodice only. The dress measures 60 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 24 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 14 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few breaks in the lace net collar. $150 |
