Organdy Orange Daisy Shawl Collar Bias Cut Dress. |
This vintage organdy orange daisy shawl collar bias cut dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a sheer off white organdy fabric, with a orange floral daisy pattern design. This beautiful bias cut dress has a low plunging V neckline, sleeveless, with an attached large layered flounce ruffle shawl style collar capelet, neck tie front and long floor length full skirt with slight back train. There are no openings or closures. The dress measures 56 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 26 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in as-is fair condition, has not been cleaned and has some faint age spotting on the skirt, collar and under the arm discoloration. There is some fraying along the neckline and a small age spot stain with hole on the side collar (see close-up). This could be used for study, pattern, design, restored or remade.
