This vintage pink silk petal floral rosette drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pale pastel pink sheer silk chiffon fabric, with hand sewn pink silk diamond shape petals on the skirt and over one shoulder. There is silver lamé, green silk ribbon bow trim accents and colorful floral rosettes sewn onto the waist sides. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist style, sleeveless, with a scoop neckline, long skirt and side snap closures. It is lined in a pink silk slip dress underneath. The dress measures 58 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 36 inch waist and bust. It is in as-is fair condition, with several small holes, fraying on the back, repairs and faint age spots on the silk chiffon. There is some faint underarm discoloration on the inside slip lining. It would be great for design. This is a wonderful unique piece of wearable flapper textile art.
