This vintage ecru bretonne needle lace silk corseted rosette jacket dates from the 1930s. It is made of an off white ecru cream color sheer bretonne needle lace with couched outline details done in a floral pattern. There are pastel silk ombré ribbon rosette flower trim circles sewn onto the front opening with ribbon lacing closure. This lovely lingerie lace bed jacket has a corseted style closure on the front, a low plunging front neckline and 3/4 length sleeves with flared cuffs. It is sheer and unlined. The jacket measures 20 inches long, with a 42 inch waist, 44 inch bust, 16 inch back and 22 inch wide sleeve cuff. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only a tiny faint age spot on the back neck. This is a wonderful piece of romantic wearable lace art.
