This antique Edwardian Titanic era white linen lace soutache coat tails jacket dates from 1912. It is made of a white linen fabric, with cut out sheer lace applique medallions and hand embroidered raised white soutache work done in a scrolling spiraling pattern design. This lovely lace tailored tuxedo style ladies jacket has a V front neckline, gathered shoulders, long tapered sleeves with rolled cuffs, a fitted back and a skirted split cutaway coat tail back. There are three large round wooden buttons for closure on the front. The jacket measures 44 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 40 inch bust, 15 inch back and 21 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of wearable textile lace art. $350 |
