This vintage Japanese geisha sheer silk screen dragonfly plum kimono dates from the Showa Period 1960s. It is hand stitched, made of a purple plum color sheer cut silk mesh fabric, with a silver shimmer effect and white silk screen hand painted dragonfly designs. This stunning sheer summer weave Japanese senior geisha kimono is unlined. The kimono measures 64 inches long, with 21 inch long kimono sleeves and is 52 inches across the shoulders. Included is the original tatoushi rice paper packaging wrapping. It is in excellent wearable condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Japanese textile art.
