This vintage ecru batiste filet lace belted drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an ecru cream color sheer fine batiste fabric, with filet lace trim inserts and drawn cut work, pleated accents. There are decorative tiny crochet ball button trim sewn down the front. This summertime delightful day dress has a straight shift style loose fitting drop waist, with a small fold over lace collar button closure, key hole opening V front neckline, long full sleeves with fitted button cuffs and an attached tie sash belted back. It is sheer and unlined. The dress measures 47 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist, bust, a 14 1/2 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of wearable lace art.
