This amazing Art Deco gold lamé green velvet cocoon opera coat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a gold and black silk lamé fabric, with a textured gold metallic abstract pattern design. This exquisite evening opera cocoon wrap coat jacket is loose fitting, with a long mid length style, gold lamé neck tie collar sash closure, long full sleeves with pleated flared wide cuffs and an open front with no closure. It is fully lined with a pastel celadon green tea color silk velvet fabric lining inside. The coat measures 46 inches long, with 44 inch hips, waist, bust, a 13 1/2 inch back and 27 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition, with only a small faint age spot stain on the inside lining. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art.
