This antique Edwardian era women's black silk duster travel motoring coat dates from 1910. It is made of a black silk fabric, with matching black silk covered large button trim accents on the back, sleeve cuffs and front closure. This ladies loose fitting long duster style travel motoring coat jacket has a fold over collar, gathered shoulders, long tapered sleeves with rolled cuffs and a fitted tailored back. The coat measures 52 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 13 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. This coat would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car. It is in good wearable condition, with only some slight wear along the the cuffs.
