This antique Edwardian era gold silver lace embroidered dickey blouse dates from 1910. It is made of an off white cotton batiste camisole top, with a sheer silver and gold metallic net lace overlay dickey sewn on top. There are colorful silk and gold thread embroidery work applique trim accents sewn onto the front and around the neck. This beautiful bodice blouse dickey top is loose fitting, sleeveless, with a high neck collar trimmed in white lace and a burgundy velvet ribbon, with hook & eye closures on the back. The top has a 40 inch waist and bust and would have been under a jacket exposing the decorative front. It is in good wearable condition, with some slight faint greenish oxidation in areas and some yellowing discoloration under the arms. It is a wonderful piece of wearable lace art. $100 |
