This antique Edwardian era R&G B448 white coutil longline corset garters dates from 1910. It is made of an off white cream color cotton coutil fabric, with off white decorative stitched scalloped trim edging around the top. This lovely lingerie longline corset has a straight steel busk hook front and is missing the original corset string lacing closure on back. There is rust proof boning stays sewn inside, and four stocking suspender garters along the bottom. It is stamped inside with the Roth & Goldschmidt South Norwalk, Connecticut corset company label "R&G B 448 Double Strength 25". The corset measures 15 inches long in front, 18 inches long in back, with 40 inch hips, a 28 inch waist and 28 inch bust which are adjustable by letting out the corset string lacing. It is in good wearable condition, but has some faint age spotting yellowing discoloration from storage.
