This vintage AJ Taylor Old Mexico Shop Santa Fe embroidered Mexican peso shirt dates from the 1940s. It is made of 100% cotton, with a blue hand stitched embroidered decorative folk art design on the front bib placket, collar and cuffs. There are antique silver peso coin buttons down the front and on the sleeve cuffs for closure. This sensational men's shirt has a fold over collar, long full sleeves and a pleated back. There is a "Mexico Imported By A.J. Taylor 141 West Water St. Santa Fe, NM" label inside stamped a size 16. The shirt measures 24 inches long, with a 38 inch waist, 40 inch chest, 15 1/2 inch back and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition and looks to have never been worn. It is a great piece of wearable Mexican textile art.
