This amazing Art Deco vintage gold metallic lamé lace bias cut evening gown dress bolero jacket dates from the 1930s. It is made of gold metallic lamé threads woven into a swirling abstract Art Deco circular cobweb pattern lace sheer fabric. This elegant evening ensemble includes a beautiful bias cut gown, sleeveless, with plunging V necklines, a pleated gathering detail on the front waist and layered asymmetrical tiered ruffle long floor length skirt. It has been recently lined in a metallic olive green sheer silk fabric enhancing the gold lace overlay and new plastic snap closures have been replaced along the side. The dress measures 53 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 32 inch bust. There is a matching sheer gold lace short cropped bolero shrug jacket, with an open front, no closure and silk lined long sleeves, with flared wide cuffs. The jacket measures 10 inches long, with 23 inch long sleeves and a 40 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only a couple tiny breaks in the lace side hip area which is difficult to see. This is truly a rare exceptional piece of wearable Art Deco metallic lace art.
