This antique Edwardian era white silk embroidered tassel wedding shawl cape cloak dates from 1910. It is made of an off white ivory cream color fine silk fabric, with beautiful raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work white work, done in a floral vine leaf design. This beautiful bridal wedding cloak cape was custom made and created from an antique Manton Canton Chinese Cantonese style Spanish Flamenco piano shawl, with hand knotted macramé off white silk fringe trim edging and wonderful tassel trim accents hanging down the back and on the front tie closure. The cape measures 26 inches long, with 6 inch fringe and 100 inch bottom circumference. It is in excellent clean wearable condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable textile art.
