This vintage Czech Bohemia folk costume pleated embroidered apron skirt dates from 1900. It is hand stitched, made of a pleated fine light black wool fabric, with colorful woven and hand embroidered ethnic geometric pattern designs. This women's fabulous folk Bohemian Czech peasant costume apron skirt has hand woven ties for securing around the waist and is mid length. The apron is a museum deaccession, with a "Czech" tag sewn inside (see close-up). The apron measures 34 inches long, 15 inches wide, with a 28 inch waistband tie on each side. It is in excellent wearable condition and is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable Bohemia Czech textile folk art!
