This vintage Lou Lattimore cream silk satin lace evening gown dress and jacket dates from the 1960s. It is made of a cream color silk satin fabric, with a sheer cream net lace floral leaf pattern overlay outlined in gold metallic cording soutache work. This elegant evening ensemble includes a lovely long floor length gown, with a low squared neckline, double shoulder straps, a lace overlay top, peplum skirted waist, with attached satin bow belted sash and back zipper closure. It is beautifully lined, with wonderful construction and a built in bustier girdle with stays boning inside. The dress measures 59 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 36 inch bust. There is a matching long loose fitting boxy swing style coat jacket, covered with the lace overlay, short sleeves and an open front with no closure. It is fully lined in the cream satin fabric, with a "Lou Lattimore Dallas" label, which was a high end store in Dallas, TX that carried only luxury designer brands. The jacket measures 28 inches long, with 56 inch hips, a 50 inch waist, 42 inch bust and a 16 inch back. This outstanding outfit is in excellent wearable condition, with only a small repair on jacket shoulder and a few tiny holes in the net lace on the jacket. This is a wonderful piece of wearable art!
