It is hand stitched and made of a black silk fabric background, with colorful silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work and French knot needlework. There is a lush floral foliage vine leaf pattern, with a variety of embroidered techniques used. There is a fabulous hand knotted macramé black silk fringe which measures 18 inches long surrounding the entire shawl with rounded corners. The shawls fabric square measures 52 by 52 inches.
