This vintage Czech Bohemia folk costume blue pleated embroidered ribbon skirt dates from the 1920s. It is hand stitched, made of a pleated blue wool fabric, with red embroidered squares on the front and a variety of colorful gold brocade ribbons, silver metallic lace and silk embroidered trim sewn around the bottom half of the skirt. This women's fabulous folk Bohemian Czech Slovakian peasant costume skirt has a form fitting style along the top which flares out creating a full bottom skirt and back opening, with adjustable ribbon tie around the waist for closure. The skirt measures 30 inches long, with 34 inch hips and a 24 inch waist. It is in good wearable condition, with only a small moth hole on the side (see close-up). This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable Bohemia Czech textile folk art!
