This vintage Art Deco black silk beaded open sides flapper tunic dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer black silk chiffon, with hand beaded crystals done in an Art Deco abstract wavy, scrolling, spiral pattern design. This fabulous flapper tunic overdress is loose fitting, with open sides, a rounded scoop neckline and scalloped bottom hemline. It is a one size fits most and was meant to be worn over a simple silk slip dress. The dress measures 48 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist and a 36 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco beaded textile art!
