This vintage Art Deco white silk pink roses floral embroidered piano shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white ivory color silk fabric background, with colorful raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in an Art Deco decorative floral vine leaf pattern design. There are varying shades of pink large embroidered roses outlined in a heavy cordonnet raised work detail. There is hand knotted off white silk fringe which measures 22 inches long surrounding the entire shawl, with rounded corners. The shawls fabric square measures 50 by 50 inches. This beautiful Art Deco Spanish Flamenco style shawl is in excellent wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
