This antique Edwardian Titanic era blue wool walking suit belted princess coat and skirt dates from 1912. It is made of a denim blue color wool fabric, with a grayish brown taupe color velvet trim accents. This charming women's two piece tailored travel walking suit includes a long mid length duster princess style coat jacket, with a fitted belted waist, flared skirt bottom, large shawl collar, long full sleeves with rolled cuffs and mother of pearl buttons for closure down the front. It is fully lined in a white silk satin fabric. The jacket measures 30 inches long, with a 30 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 13 1/2 inch back and 24 inch long sleeves. Included is a matching fabric long floor length full skirt, with a decorative belted waistband accent, two patch pockets and hook & eye closures. The skirt measures 42 inches long, with 40 inch hips and a 24 inch waist. This wonderful women's walking suit would have been worn for travel. It is in excellent wearable condition.
