This vintage Japanese geisha yellow silk purple and green tie dye kimono dates from the Showa Period 1960s. It is hand stitched and made of a pastel yellow lemon chiffon color silk fabric, with a tie dye purple and green design along one side of the bottom corner and sleeve. It is fully lined in a white silk rayon fabric. This fabulous Japanese senior geisha kimono robe is quite heavy weighing over 2 pounds and measures 65 inches long, with 21 inch long kimono sleeves and is 52 inches across the shoulders. It is in excellent wearable condition and comes wrapped in the original tatoushi rice paper packaging wrapping. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Japanese textile art!
