This antique Edwardian era dark olive green soutache wool walking suit jacket and skirt dates from 1910. It is made of a dark olive green color fine quality soft wool fabric, with matching green silk soutache braided trim accents. This two piece ladies tailored travel walking suit includes a mid length coat jacket, with a scalloped edge open front, button trim accents, no closure, layered shoulders and long tapered sleeves. It is fully lined in a green silk satin fabric, which has some slight fading discoloration inside and fraying. The jacket measures 27 inches long, with a 40 inch waist, bust, 14 inch back and 24 inch long sleeves. Included is a matching long tea length skirt, with soutache trim accents around the top. The skirt measures 34 inches long, with a 2 inch hem, 44 inch hips and a 34 inch waist. There are a few tiny moth nip holes on both the jacket and skirt. This wonderful women's walking suit would have been worn for travel and is a large wearable size! $250 |
