This vintage Art Deco black silk geometric grid beaded flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk fabric, with black hand bead work done in a abstract geometric grid pattern design. This beautiful beaded loose fitting flapper dress has a rounded scoop neckline, is sleeveless, with wide arm hole openings, gathering along the sides and a fitted waistband sewn inside. The dress measures 50 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few missing, loose beads and some slight fraying of the trim around the neckline (see close-up). It is a wonderful wearable piece of Art Deco beaded textile art!
