Edwardian Blue & White Plaid Silk Polka Dot Dress White Lace Blouse Top Skirt
This vintage Edwardian era blue and white plaid silk polka dot dress, white lace blouse, top and skirt dates from 1915. The dress is made of a dark navy blue and white fine silk fabric, with a plaid checkered and polka dot pattern design. This three piece jumper pinafore dress outfit includes a blouse, skirt and top. The middy style blouse is made of a white cotton batiste fabric, with crochet filet lace trim edging, a wide full sailor collar, long sleeves, rolled cuffs, a fitted waist and button front closure. It has a 26 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 15 inch back and 20 inch long sleeves. The silk camisole sleeveless top has white lace trim edging, a fitted waist and hook & eye closures down the front. It has a 26 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 22 inch wide armholes. There is a matching silk fabric long floor length full skirt, with pleating, ruffle hemline, slight back train and hook & eye closure. The skirt measures 38 1/2 inches long, with 38 inch hips and a 26 inch waist. This pretty pinafore jumper dress ensemble is in excellent wearable condition, with only some faint age spotting on the white blouse and the skirt has a small mend on the front.
