This antique Victorian era cream silk floral lace applique wedding gown dress skirt train dates from 1890. It is made of an off white ivory cream color silk fabric, with floral roses silk embroidered lace applique trim sewn onto the bodice, sleeve cuffs and front skirt. This beautiful bridal wedding gown dress has a high neck collar, finely pleated yoke, layered shoulder flounce overlay, long tapered pleated sleeves with gathering, a fitted waist pointed to a V in the front, higher empire waist style back, with back skirt train and hook & eye closures down the back. It is beautifully constructed, with a white silk camisole top lining sewn inside. The dress measures 59 inches long in the front, 68 inches long in the back, with a 28 inch waist, 34 inch bust, 16 inch back and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only a few tiny faint age spot stains and the inside bottom silk lining dust ruffle trim is shattering in areas. This is a wonderful piece of romantically feminine antique Victoriana bridal wedding textile lace art!
