Vintage 1920s Art Deco Black Silk Floral Wheel Design Beaded Flapper Dress
This vintage Art Deco black silk floral wheel design beaded flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk satin fabric, with black hand bead work done in a abstract circular floral spoke wheel pattern and striped design. This beautiful beaded loose fitting flapper dress has a rounded scoop neckline, beaded fold over collar, attached tassel fringed bottom neck sash tie, 3/4 length sleeves, with flared bell shape cuffs lined in blue silk and decorative button trim accents. There are shoulder snap closures. The dress is a large size measuring 50 inches long, with 44 inch hips, waist and bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only two tiny holes on the side and the tassel fringe trim is missing from the bottom of one neck tie sash. This is a wonderful wearable piece of Art Deco beaded textile art!
