This vintage Art Deco rose pink silk gold metallic embroidered robe coat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pale pastel pinkish rose color silk fabric background, with gold metallic lamé thread stitched and embroidered into an abstract Art Deco floral vine leaf pattern design done throughout. There is a darker reddish orange tone tango pink color silk trim edging, sleeve cuffs and neck tie sash. This lovely long loose fitting robe style coat jacket has a boxy design, long full sleeves, an open front with no closure and is fully lined in a matching pink silk fabric. The coat measures 37 inches long, with 36 inch hips, waist, bust, a 12 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition, with only a some fraying of the silk lining inside under the arms and a tiny fray along one shoulder (see close-up). This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
