Vintage Victorian Inspired Embroidered White Organdy Mixed Lace Drop Waist Dress
This vintage Victorian inspired embroidered white organdy mixed lace drop waist dress & slip was custom made in the 1980s. It is made of an off white cream color sheer organdy fabric, with antique lace trims which have been redesigned into a custom made unique one of a kind creation. There are a variety of mixed laces pieced together into a patchwork style, with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work. This lovely lace dress has a drop waist with a silk ribbon belted sash, a fitted high collar neckline, layered shoulders, with long tapered sleeves and tiny buttons down the back for closure. The dress measures 52 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 38 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 25 inch long sleeves. It is sheer, unlined and comes with a peach color cotton slip dress with white lace trim edging to wear underneath. The shift style slip is loose fitting and measures 50 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist and a 38 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of custom made wearable lace art which could be worn as a graduation dress or wedding gown!
