Vintage 1920s Art Deco Gold Metallic Embroidered Green Velvet Curly Lamb Fur Winter Coat
This amazing Art Deco gold metallic embroidered green velvet curly lamb fur winter coat dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a dark green velvet fabric, with gold and silver metallic chain stitch crewel embroidery work done in an ethnic floral Art Deco pattern design. There is a gray Persian curly lamb fur collar, cuffs and trim edging. This wonderful winter coat has a long mid length boxy style, with a large shawl style collar, long full sleeves and open front with no closure. It is fully lined in black silk, with a "Harry Fink & Co. Los Angeles, New York, Paris" label sewn inside. The coat measures 41 inches long, with 44 inch hips, waist and bust, a 15 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition, but does have a slight musty odor from storage. There is some fade along one sleeve and the fur collar has some dryness with missing fur. The inside silk lining is frayed along the back collar. This is truly a unique quality custom made piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
