Edwardian Childrens Red Wool Boys Sailor Suit Pants Dress

This antique Edwardian era children's red wool boys sailor suit pants & dress date from 1915. It is made of a red soft brushed nap flannel wool fabric, with a black embroidered military naval sailor insignia on the front top. This charming child's boy's two piece outfit includes a dress style top, with a drop waist, belted sash waist, high neck collar, long sleeves with fitted button cuffs and buttons down the back for closure. The top measures 21 inches long, with a 30 inch waist and chest. There is a matching fabric knee length pants, breeches, knickers, knickerbockers, with open sides, button closures, pockets and gathered leg cuffs. The pants measure 17 inches long, with a 10 inch inseam, 32 inch hips and 24 inch waist. There is a "L.P. Hollander & Co. Boston" store label sewn inside. The outfit is in excellent wearable condition, with only a broken button on the sash belt.
