This vintage Art Deco black silk geometric floral butterfly embroidered piano shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk fabric background, with bright colorful raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in an Art Deco abstract geometric shape arrow floral vine leaf butterfly design. There is a hand knotted macramé fine black silk fringe trim which measures 22 inches long surrounding the entire shawl. The shawls fabric square measures 45 by 45 inches. This beautiful Art Deco Spanish Flamenco style shawl is in excellent wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
