Edwardian Vintage Men's Belted Linen Travel Motoring Driving Duster Coat Jacket
This Edwardian era vintage men's belted linen travel motoring driving duster coat dates from 1910. It is made of an off white ecru cream color linen fabric. This classic men's long loose fitting floor length duster motoring coat jacket has a wide fold over collar, two patch pockets, long full sleeves, an attached belted waist, with wooden button trim accents and closures down the front. The coat measures 54 inches long, with 52 inch hips, a 44 inch waist and chest. This coat would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car. It is in good as-is condition and has been well worn with some slight wear. There is a small mended repair on the back collar, some frayed patching on the bottom front with water spotting stains (see close-up). There is also a small black grease mark on the arm and is missing the bottom button on front.
