|
This antique Edwardian era embroidered white batiste lawn lace wedding gown graduation dress dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer fine white cotton batiste lawn fabric, with tiny embroidered eyelet cut work, forget me not flowers and sheer white net lining the top. There is a cream and pink roses print silk moire ribbon sash with bow trim back around the waist. This lovely lace long floor length dress has a V front neckline, jacket style overlay, with tiny pearl beaded trim down the front, 3/4 length sleeves, a layered tiered skirt and hook & eye closures down the back. It is lined in a sheer white net fabric. The dress measures 58 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 15 inch back. It is in good wearable condition, with only a tiny faint age spot on the top and a pin hole on the front skirt. The separate silk ribbon sash is frayed and splitting which can be replaced. This is a wonderful piece of romantically feminine Edwardian antique textile art which could be worn as a bridal wedding gown or graduation dress! |
