1920s Vintage Art Deco Black Net Applique Sequin Beaded Blouse Flapper Tunic Top
This amazing Art Deco black net applique sequin beaded blouse flapper tunic top dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer black net overlay with black silk embroidered applique's done in an abstract floral leaf pattern design. There is hand sewn black sequin and jet faceted glass beaded trim. This exquisite evening blouse flapper shirt tunic top is loose fitting, with a rounded scoop neckline, sleeveless, fully lined in black silk with snaps closures along the side, waist , shoulder and long net panels hanging down from the sides. The fabric selvage is stamped inside "Goetz USA" and is weighted along the bottom hemline. The top measures 20 inches long, with additional 30 inch long net panels on each side, a 44 inch waist and 40 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few tiny pin holes in the net and a few missing, loose sequin beads (see close-ups). This is a wonderful custom made piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
