This amazing antique Art Deco yellow cream silk gold lamé cocoon cape cloak shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of a light yellowish cream color silk fabric border edging, with gold metallic lamé threads woven into the fabric creating a green and red floral sunburst pattern design in the center square. This magnificent shawl has a cape cloak style, with snaps for creating a Japanese inspired cocoon wrap design (one snap is missing). The square shawl measures 48 by 48 inches. It is in excellent wearable condition. This is truly a exceptional piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
